Located in Egypt’s East Port Said, which marks the meeting point of the Suez Canal with the Mediterranean Sea, it was established in 1999. The company is a private-public partnership, managed by APM Terminals (APMT), the Dutch-registered port development arm of Danish company AP Moller-Maersk Group.
