Dubai Municipality reprieved owners of abandoned buildings, houses and yards in the emirate two weeks' time from the receipt of notice for necessary maintenance work or demolition, stressing the need to do so before Municipality removes them without referring to them. In this case, the owner has to pay the costs of demolition in addition to the 20% administrative expense.
