Iranian Offshore Oil Company (IOOC) has issued an international tender for the Esfandiar oil field development in the Gulf.
The engineering, procurement, construction and drilling tender covers the drilling of four offshore wells, the construction of well head equipment, a 30 kilometre, 8 inch pipeline and a production platform. A prequalification package is available for contractors until 26 December.
Earlier in December, IOOC issued tenders for the giant Lavan gas field, which boasts recoverable gas resources estimated at more than 6 trillion cubic feet, and the Alpha oil field.
IOOC, a subsidiary of National Iranian Oil Company, is also understood to have invited interested companies this week to pre-qualify for the development of the Hormoz and Tusan fields.
