56= New Doha Port
Project Overview
The new port will be built to the north of
Mesaieed, will cover 20 sq km and be built in three phases.
The first will have a capacity of 2 million 20-foot equivalent units (TEUs) a year and 2 million tonnes of general cargo.
When the project is completed, the port’s capacity will be more than 12 million TEUs a year.
