As part of its efforts to promote real estate,
tourism and leisure facilities in Ras al-Khaimah, the emirate’s government has allocated a 1.5 sq km area of land to RAK Properties for development.
The scheme will include themed residential districts, 20 hotels, and entertainment facilities. It is being developed in phases over 10 years.

UAE's contractors concentrating on the essentials
Developers in the northern emirates are delaying their ambitious real estate projects, but much-needed infrastructure work will keep contractors busy during the downturn.
