ADB approves loan for Algerian road project
The African Development Bank (ADB) on 19 December approved a $76.9 loan to Algeria to finance the second phase of the Constantine bypass project. The funds will be used for the construction of a 13-kilometre stretch of three-lane road. The bank said in a statement that increased road capacity would contribute to poverty reduction in Algeria, by increasing national and regional integration.
