Qatar has allocated $12.4bn for accommodation to cater for the influx of international professionals drafted in to prepare the capital for the 2022 World Cup. In addition, approximately 80,000 hotel rooms will be required for the 1.4 million visitors expected to descend on Doha during the four week event.
