Press Release: Software used in UAE Land Departments to adopt metric system
The UAE will implement the International System of Units (SI) replacing feet, inches and yards in favor of metres, effective 11 November this year. The decision to shift to metre in official and commercial activities, especially in the real estate sector, was announced in August last year.
