Algeria to raise minimum wage

The government announced on 10 October that it would increase the minimum wage by 25 per cent from AD 8,000 ($105) a month to AD 10,000 ($131) a month. Government officials came to the deal after prolonged negotiations with employers and trade unions in the capital.
