Algiers pays off debts early

Algiers signed on 7 August an agreement for an early repayment of its debt to Japan and was scheduled to sign a similar accord with Italy when the latter's Deputy Foreign Affairs Minister, Ugo Intini, visits Algiers on 10 August.
