BBC: Algiers to aid single mothers
Algiers continued to implement a new social code in September, reportedly announcing plans to provide all single mothers with a monthly payment to assist with childcare expenses.An Algerian government minister told the BBC that payments of AD 10,000 ($35) would start in October.
