Death toll rises in Algerian earthquake

The death toll in the 21 May earthquake in Algeria has risen to more than 1,000 with thousands more injured, as hospitals struggle to cope with the crisis. Other countries are sending in teams to help deal with the aftermath of the tremor, the most powerful to hit Algeria since 1980.
