Abu Dhabi will not disclose school inspect results
The Abu Dhabi Education Council said it will not publicly release the results of its first-ever school inspections, despite promising last year that they would do so, it was reported today. The council said it would fully inspect 95 of the capital's 179 private schools this year and not publish its findings, after initially pledging in May that it would inspect them all and make the results public, the National said in a report. Yousif al Sheryani, executive director-designate for private schools at the council, said 'minor' adjustments and refinements had been made to the initial plan as the council 'has accumulated additional intelligence and data while working with the private schools sector and its school leaders'. He said the findings would be released after a second round of inspections is done, the newspaper reported.
