Adec signs 5-year school accreditation MoU

A five-year memorandum of understanding has been signed by the Abu Dhabi Education Council (Adec) and US-based school accreditation entity Advance Education, Inc. to seek international accreditation of public and private schools in the emirate, Wam has reported. Adec will provide AdvancED with a physical location and all equipment and supplies necessary to establish and maintain their operations in Abu Dhabi. Under the MoU, AdvancED may enter into a formal agreement to provide access to its ASSIST (Adaptive System of School Improvement Tools) for the schools and school systems in Abu Dhabi.
