Saudi Arabia's education ministry plans to set up a holding company to act as its own investment arm, Arab News has reported. The proposed firm aims to help finance a $2.4bn nationwide project for the promotion of general education. 'The Tatweer (development) holding company will be one of the kingdom's mega companies and will soon be set up by the ministry after its organizational structure has been finalized,' Fahd Al-Tayyash, the ministry's general supervisor of educational information said.
