Egyptian GDP growth slows to 5.8 per cent
The Egyptian economy grew at an annualised rate of 5.8 per cent in the first quarter of the 2008/09 financial year, Economic Development Minister Othman Othman was quoted as saying by state-owned newspaper Al-Ahram on 19 November.
