France extends credit to aid post-earthquake reconstruction
France on 31 May announced the extension of concessionary loans worth Eur 30 million-50 million ($35.3 million-58.8 million) to assist Algiers in dealing with the aftermath of the devastating 21May earthquake, which killed more than 2,000 people (MEED 30:5:03).
