IMF praises reform, urges more
Prudent macroeconomic policy, falling unemployment, low inflation and strong gross domestic product (GDP) growth were all welcomed by the IMF in the conclusion to its latest Article IV consultation, published in early March. The government was praised for implementing structural reforms but urged to take advantage of benign economic conditions to accelerate change.
