Qatar to add over 5,000 finance jobs this year

Qatar's financial sector is expected to add 5,200 jobs this year as the country's economy continues to buck the global financial downturn, according to a report by the executive search firm Kinsey Allen International. The number of people working for Qatar's financial companies is expected to rise to 20,100 by the end of the year, the report said, as cited by the National. 'The number of people working in the financial services sector in Qatar has increased by an average of 35% year on year over the last four years,' said James Bridgman, the managing director of Kinsey Allen in the Middle East.
