US agrees $50 million credit for agriculture exports to Morocco

The US Department of Agriculture (USDA) is to provide $50 million credit to US exporters selling their products in Morocco. The funds fall under the Commodity Credit Corporation (CCC) Intermediate Export Credit Guarantee Program, which encourages exports to countries where credit is needed to maintain or increase US sales, but might not be available without CCC guarantees. The US sells about $475 million-worth of agricultural products to Morocco annually.
