Khalifa Bank placed under administration
The Banque d'Algerie (BdA - central bank) on 3 March appointed a temporary administrator to take over the management of Khalifa Bank, the largest local private bank, citing concerns that the incumbent management was failing to take adequate measures to prevent the deterioration of the bank's financial situation.
