Algiers seeks interest in Arzew helium plant
The Energy & Mines Ministry has set a bid deadline of 27 September for the estimated $80 million engineering, procurement and construction (EPC) contract to develop a 600 million-cubic-feet-a-year (cf/y) helium plant at Arzew. Bids will be opened the next day, with an award expected soon after. Prospective bidders are the US' Air Products & Chemicals, Lindeof Germany and France's Air Liquide.
