Rehab start-up delayed
The project to upgrade petrochemical plants at Skikda and Arzew has been delayed due to ongoing issues over the lines of credit agreement and performance bonds. Diagnostic work to determine the extent of the capacity expansion at the Skikda ethylene and aromatics complex and the Arzew methanol and resin complex, originally due for completion in February, is not now expected to be completed before the autumn, with the start of front-end engineering and design (FEED) work likely to be delayed ...
