Anadarko, Sonatrach announce Algerian oil find
The US' Anadarko Petroleum Corporationand state-owned Sonatrachon 29 January announced an oil and gas discovery at Algeria's Hassi Berkine north east prospect, in block 404 of the Berkine basin. The HBNE well tested at a rate of 4,092 barrels a day (b/d) of oil and 6.7 million cubic feet a day (cf/d) of gas.
