Bids due for Hassi Messaoud GOSP
Revised technical bids are due to be submitted by the end of February for the contract to build a gas/oil separation plant (GOSP) at the giant Hassi Messaoud field in east central Algeria. Three companies - Japan's JGC Corporation, UAE-based Petrofac and Italy's Saipem - have been shortlisted for the contract following the original submission of technical bids in 2005.
