El-Merk engineering job awarded
The US/local Brown & Root Condor has been awarded a contract to carry out initial engineering and detailed design on the planned El-Merk field development in block 208. The project includes a central processing facility, export pipelines and field infrastructure. The engineering, procurement and construction (EPC) contract is due to be tendered by the end of the year. The facilities will process production from block 208 and from the Hassi Berkine South concession, both operated by state-owned .
