FCP announces preliminary well results
First Calgary Petroleums (FCP)announced on 23 August preliminary drilling results from the MZLN-1 well in its Ledjmet block 405b. The well logged 74 metres of net hydrocarbon pay over multiple intervals. Production testing is expected to start by the end of September. The exploratory drilling programme follows FCP's June announcement of test results for the MLE-5 appraisal well - the fifth gas and condensate well in the MLE field in the same block.
