Fifth bidding round provokes strong interest
Fifty-two international oil and gas companies participated in the presentation of Algiers' fifth licensing round for the exploration and appraisal of acreage in 10 oil and gas blocks. After the meeting, state energy company Sonatrachsaid 20 firms expressed interest in entering in the data room, which opened on 15 April.
