FMC signs revised contract

The US' FMC Technologieshas announced that it has signed a revised contract with state energy company Sonatrachfor an offshore oil loading project, which the Texas-based firm won in 2002. The original $240 million contract called for the construction of five offshore terminals for loading crude oil and condensate, designed to double Algeria's oil export capacity to 220 million tonnes by 2010.
