Gas competition nears

Sonatrach has invited Japan's JGC Corporation and Stone & Webster, part of the US' Shaw Group. to submit alternative proposals for the front-end engineering and design (FEED) of a third liquefied petroleum gas (LPG) plant at Hassi Messaoud. The state oil company will award the engineering, procurement and construction (EPC) contract to the company that submits its preferred FEED proposal.
