Gas found in Timimoun
A consortium led by France's Total has made a gas discovery in the Timimoun basin, 500 kilometres south of Hassi R'Mel. Drilling of the Iraharen 5 well yielded production test results of over 17.5 million cubic feet a day of dry gas.
