Gassi Touil bids expected by mid-year
State energy company Sonatrachexpects to call for commercial bids for the Gassi Touil gas project by the middle of the year, a company official confirmed on 3 March. Financial offers for the six-field integrated gas project were originally scheduled to be submitted by 11 March, but the project has been subject to delays, and technical bids, originally due last October, were only submitted at the start of this year (Oil & Gas, MEED Special Report, 24:1:02, page 30).
