Sixth licensing round extended

The Energy & Mines Ministry and state energy company Sonatrachhave extended the deadline for bids on the sixth international licensing round to 9 April, with awards to be made the next day. Bids for the exploration and appraisal of acreage in 10 oil and gas blocks, covering almost 100,000 square kilometres, were due on 19 March. About 60 companies are expected to bid (MEED 18:02:05).
