Skikda unit to restart shortly
Energy & Mines Minister Chakib Khelil said on 27 April that operations at one of the three liquefied natural gas (LNG) trains damaged by the explosion at the Skikda complex in mid-January would be resumed by the end of May. The two other damaged trains would restart in September, said Khelil. State energy company Sonatrachplans to issue a tender by the end of the second quarter for the estimated $800 million contract to replace the other three units destroyed in the blast. ...
