Sonatrach explores US LNG market

State energy company Sonatrach signed on 24 October a 20-year heads of agreement (HoA) with the US' Sempra Energy to export 1.9 million-3.8 million tonnes a year (t/y) of liquefied natural gas (LNG) to Sempra's Cameron LNG terminal, under development on the east coast of the US near Lake Charles, Louisiana.
