Sonatrach gets LNG deal
State energy company Sonatrachhas signed a deal with Norway's Statoilto supply liquefied natural gas (LNG). Sonatrach will deliver 730,000 tonnes a year to the Cove Point facility in the US. The deal starts in December and runs to 2006.
