Sonatrach makes new discovery
Sonatrach has announced a new gas and condensates discovery in the Brides region after the successful drilling of its Brides West-1 well, 45 kilometres north of the Gassi Touil field. The well was drilled to a depth of 5,296 metres, indicating sizeable deposits. Sonatrach says it will now conduct further drilling appraisals to determine the extent of the field's reserves.
