Sonatrach plans new refinery at Tiaret
State-owned energy company Sonatrach has invited prequalified companies to submit technical proposals on 15 April for a concession to take a 35 per cent equity stake in a new project company to build a 300,000-barrel-a-day grassroots refinery at Tiaret. Sonatrach will take the remaining 65 per cent stake. Companies have been invited to bid along with engineering, procurement and construction (EPC) contractors.
