US signs $1 bn agreement with Sonatrach

The U.S. Export-Import Bank (Exim Bank), a federal government agency, on 28 October signed a preliminary deal with Algeria's state-owned oil and gas company Sonatrach to provide a $1,000 million credit line to finance various energy projects.
