Dubai Shopping Festival opens

With the launch of Dubai's 15th shopping festival, the Dubai Events and Promotions Establishment has said that the number of retailers in the one-month event is expected to reach 2009's tally of nearly 6,000, Emirates Business has reported. The festival, which runs until February 28, will offer discounts up to 75% at shopping malls, in addition to the DSF Lexus Mega Raffle offering winners a choice of 12 Nissan sedan cars and seven types of SUVs from the 32 being offered as prizes by the malls.
