MasterCard: UAE consumer confidence up
The UAE has seen a quick recovery in the current consumer confidence score (86.1 vs. 29.6 a period ago) registering the largest Index score increase from the last survey six months ago, compared to all other Middle East and Levant market scores, according to the Mastercard Consumer Confidence index . Released twice a year, the Index measures consumer confidence on prevailing expectations in the market for the next six months based on five economic indicators: Economy, Employment, Stock Market, Regular Income and Quality of Life.
