Abener wins solar hybrid scheme
Spain's Abener Energia has been awarded the build-own-operate (BOO) contract to develop the 155-MW solar hybrid power plant at Hassi R'Mel following the public opening of commercial offers on 28 May. The client on the project is New Energy Algeria (NEAL MEED 20:1:06).According to NEAL, Abener submitted a better offer than the only other bidder Spain's Cobra Instalaciones & Servicios.
