AEC scraps Hadjret Ennous tender

Algerian Energy Company (AEC)has cancelled the tender for the post of foreign partner in the project company to build, own and operate a $600 million, 1,200-MW combined cycle electricity plant at Hadjret Ennous, in the Tipasa region. Two companies, Canada's SNCLavalinand Germany's Siemens, submitted technical offers for the contract in February.
