Dam programme takes shape
Agence Nationale des Barrages (ANB) has awarded a raft of contracts worth a total of more than $300 million as part of its national dam-building and water distribution programme. A consortium of Portugal's Teixeira Duarte and the local ETRHB has been awarded a $197 million, 32-month contract for design and construction work on lot 3.1 of the Mostaganem-Arzew-Oran (MAO) water supply system project.
