SNC awarded Skikda power project
Canada's SNC Lavalinwas awarded on 7 June the 730-MW Skikda power project. SNC beat off competition from three other contractors to take the award, which involves carrying out the engineering, procurement and construction (EPC) package, providing operations and maintenance (O&M) services and taking an 11 per cent equity stake in the recently-formed Skikda Power Company(SPC- MEED 21:2:03).
