Algeria telecom project gets IDB loan
The Jeddah-based Islamic Development Bank (IDB) has granted a $60 million loan to Algeria to finance the expansion of its GSM network, the official Algerian news agency reported on 4 March. The funds will enable the installation of a further 500,000 lines, as part of a government project worth a total of $142 million.
