HP rolls out data centre services for small businesses

Technology behemoth HP has rolled out a new line of services for small and mid-size data centres, targeting clients that are looking to either outsource the task of coordinating support for their IT assets with multiple vendors, increase data centre efficiency or to assess capacity of their mission-critical facilities. It expands on the offerings provided through the company's services division, which in the most recently completed fiscal quarter was responsible for $8.7bn in revenue, or about 28% of HP's total revenue for the quarter ended January 31.
