Wataniya negotiates financing

Citigroup is in negotiations with German export credit agency Hermes to provide export credits on a $350 million financing facility for Wataniya Telecom Algeria( WTA). The Kuwait-based operator was awarded the country's third GSM licence after submitting the highest bid of $421 million last December.
