Algiers metro contracts awarded
A consortium of France's Vinci, Construcciones y Auxiliar de Ferrocarriles (CAF)of Spain and the French office of Germany's Siemenshas won the estimated Eur 400 million ($483 million) turnkey systems contract for the line 1 systems contract on the Algiers metro. The company saw off competition from a French group of Alstom, AMEC Spie Capagand Razel(MEED 5:8:05).
