Alstom consortium takes Algiers tram work
L'Entreprise du Metro d'Alger (EMA) has awarded a consortium led by France's Alstom the estimated $320 million lump-sum turnkey (LSTK) contract to build the eastern line of the Algiers tramway. Alstom with Italy's Todini Construction and the local ETRHB Hadad Group beat off competition from a consortium led by Germany's Siemens.
